IEC Tru-Metric Motors Overview
WEG offers three phase IEC Tru-Metric motors for general purpose applications. Aluminum or cast iron, TEFC.
Three-Phase: W22 IE3 IEC Tru-Metric – TEFC (IP55) Cast Iron Frame
Efficiency Level: IE3 according to IEC 60034-30 (Equivalent to NEMA Premium Efficiency). Standard features include:
- Premium efficiency - complying with IE3 efficiency levels according to IEC60034-30
- Output: 0,12 up to 500kW
- Number of Poles: 2, 4, 6 and 8
- Frames: 63 up to 355M/L
- Mounting: F-2 / B3L(E)
- Frequency: 60//50 Hz
- Voltage: 460//220-240/380-415V with 6 cables for frames 63 to 100L and 460//380-415V with 6 cables for frames 112M to 355M/L
- Class “F” insulation (ΔT = 80K)

These motors are tested according to IEEE 112 std., method 'B' and their efficiency values are certified according to EPACT regulations (CC029A).
