Allied Automation was proud to host students from the Purdue Polytechnic High School. If you are not familiar, this program was created by leaders of Purdue University and the City of Indianapolis to encourage students to pursue STEM related careers. https://pphs.purdue.edu/about
Students toured Allied’s Robotunits Design Center to see guarding and frames being constructed, the Training Center where machine and motion control and robotics are taught to industry, and the Technology Center where students were able to experience advanced automation technologies in pneumatics, robotics, safety, sensing, motion and machine control.
Different career paths in automation were discussed showing the students what they learn and enjoy today could be applied to a profession in the future.
