Exlar Positioners Overview
Accurate, Adaptable, Electronic Positioner
The EXP-24 positioner is designed to be used with Exlar® EL100 actuators in high temperature, hazardous locations. Also it is well suited to drive most 3-phase linear actuators and rotary motors.
This accurate and adaptable positioner features a fully capable 24 VDC motion controller and brushless servo motor amplifier. Its rugged design and protective housing conform to CSA and the EU ATEX Directive 94/9/EC for explosion-proof applications.
The SV Series Positioners were designed specifically for use with Exlar rotary and linear actuators to control valves and dampers in process control applications. The all-electric design eliminates the complexity of applying electro-hydraulic interface pilot valves or electric-pneumatic positioners, and provides two-way communication between your system and the actuator.
The fully digital SV Series Positioners operate from standard process control inputs allowing for simple retrofits of hydraulic or pneumatic actuated valve applications or dampers. SV Series Positioners used with Exlar’s high performance linear and rotary actuators can also replace fluid power and low performance electric actuators, eliminating problems associated with actuator failures.
