Festo Motion Terminal VTEM has Created a Game Changing Technology for Automation. It is the World’s First Pneumatic Valve to be Controlled by Apps.

Pneumatics is an easy-to-control technology and is now becoming even more simple, versatile and flexible – with the brand-new Festo Motion Terminal VTEM.  Motion apps are moving pneumatics into the age of Industry 4.0. These apps control a single piece of hardware and can replace over 50 individual components.

  • Have the valve control the flow out of each port, regulating the extend and retract speed of its actuator. Tell the valve to make the cylinder move in exactly .55 seconds.
  • Let the valve control its pressure out of each port independently for high pressure extend, low pressure retract, saving energy, reducing wear on the mechanics, saving space, and reducing operator tampering.
  • Control the deceleration of the cylinder, eliminating the cost, space, installation, and maintenance of shock absorbers.

Let the VTEM motion terminal monitor your applications for energy loss. As air leakage occurs due to wear on cylinder seals or leaks from fittings you can be informed, saving money from lost energy.
