Pick-it guides your robot to pick and place a wide range of products in different applications. Their 3D camera and software detect the exact position of every part.
A complete solution
The Pick-it products consists of the Pick-it 3D camera and the Pick-it 3D software installed on an industrial processor.
Connect a PC or lapyop to the Pick-it processor to configure your application through the Pick-it web interface.
Connect your Universal Robot to the Pick-it processor to program your robot with some easy Pick-it commands to start picking.
For many applications
Pick-it is a flexible product. You can set it up for many different applications like bin picking, machine loading, depalletising, kitting, assembly and many more.
No programming needed
Configuring Pick-it is easy. It is all done through a user-friendly graphical user interface. Just connect laptop or PC to the Pick-it processor and start configuring your first application.
With Pick-it, you can automate your machine tending.
Pick-it allows for automated robotic machine loading, which increases productivity and frees skilled workers for doing value-added work, such as maintenance and quality control.
Thanks to the Pick-it your robot can now load the parts to the machine fully autonomous.
The biggest advantage of Pick-it is the added flexibility. Other machine loading systems require fixed positions on the buffer table and pre-defined part dimensions.
Pick-it makes machine loading easy. The parts can be scattered on the buffer table, stacked in piles, or picked straight from the box.
No more need for pre-defined positions.
Most 3D vision bin picking applications are complex and require vision consultants to program and set up the application.
Pick-it FLEX and TEACH vision engines can be used to find simple or complex parts in bins or boxes. Both vision engines offer the same tools to singulate parts from random bins.
Pick-it simply finds the position and orientation of parts in bins and allows you to select a bin collision prevention strategy so that certain unreachable parts are not sent to the bin picking robot for picking.
There is no more need for pre-defined part positions in trays or expensive feeder systems and conveyors.
Many factories and plants today run an automated palletizing robot solution of some kind. However, classic robotic depalletizing technology is often rigid and time consuming to set-up, while they also operate ‘blind’ and cannot cope with shifted goods.
Pick-it offers you a world of new possibilities in the field of palletizing and depalletizing.
Pick-it provides you with a highly flexible solution thanks to our 3D vision technology. Pick-it can handle various sizes of boxes, crates, barrels, bags at the same time. The FLEX engine will look for geometric shapes (cylinders, boxes, spheres). You simply choose a shape and set a range of sizes that you want to be picked.
The FLEX vision engine makes it easy to handle a variety of sizes within the same or sequential batches without the need for re-programming.
Kitting and assembly
Robotic kitting and assembly of multiple sub-components into a finished or semi-finished product provides a significant increase in productivity and efficiency of your assembly operations.
However, the problem of robotic kitting configuration in the past was rigidity, lack of flexibility and poor expandability.
Pick-it is a unique 3D robot vision solution that brings flexibility.
For assembly applications, one Pick-it 3D camera can find objects in multiple bins and guide your robot to assemble the parts. Pick-it can also perform orientation checks to make sure the parts are assembled in the correct manner.

Pick and place
Conveyor lines can be found around production lines, goods-to-person automation, picking and packing stations, and order-to-consumer fulfillment.
Pick-it can find parts on moving or stand-still (cyclic moving) conveyor belts.
Pick-it can be setup to only pass on parts to the robot which are fully in view of the region of interest.
If multiple parts are in view, the robot gets a list of all the parts and their position on the conveyor belt.
Pick-it relies on robot conveyor tracking for moving conveyor belts but does not need any conveyor tracking if the conveyor belt is in stand-still operation (cyclic moving).
