CC-Link IE is a gigabit (1GBPS) network designed from the ground up to give deterministic performance characteristics using token passing technology. “CC-Link IE offers significant performance increases over traditional networks using the 100/10 Mbps. We’re seeing improved machine throughput and increased data collection bandwidth on our installations over the past year.” states Todd King, Business Development at Allied Automation.
With the newly released J4-GF CC-Link IE Field servo drives, a single network can be installed for the PLC, HMI, Servos, VFD, I/O, Robots and other products in a Star, Line, Line-Star mixture or a Ring topology.
Gigabit Cyclic deterministic transmission using real-time protocol enables easy reliable data and I/O communication independent of transmission delay. High-speed Transient communication for the management information of the devices and trace information has a separate bandwidth so it doesn’t effect the deterministic communication.
Easy configuration and network diagnosis enables a total engineering cost reduction from system start-up to maintenance.
